What’s it all about?

When I first started out as a freelance copy editor, I had no idea where to start and quickly realised that freelancing can be lonely without the support of like-minded people to turn to. Here at Freelance Editors UK, I wanted to create a place where freelance editors working from home can feel like they have the support of a community to lift them when things get a bit overwhelming. Here, I will share with you the resources, tools, support, and community I wish I’d had when I was fresh out of my editing and proofreading course. Whichever path you have taken to get here, welcome! I hope you find that this community has everything you need to boost your confidence as an editor at the start of your journey and beyond.

Member Perks

Freelance Editors UK is for new and aspiring editors who love supporting others and being supported. It is a friendly community for people working from home, who miss having the support of a team. Not only will there be plenty of opportunities to communicate with your fellow editor buddies, but you will also have unlimited access to monthly resources in the member resources catalogue.
